For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Do you struggle with feeling good about who you are or accepting yourself as a worthwhile person? Do you constantly question why you are where you are? What is your purpose? God’s Word assures us that we are chosen by Him, created by Him, and that He has a plan for our life. He promises a hope and future in Christ. All He asks is that we walk in obedience. He tells us we are created in His image. We are His workmanship. He has prepared works for us to do and a path for us to follow.
As you face each day, start by submitting to His plan for your day. Ask Him to open your eyes to what you are to do. Most of all, accept who He has made you to be. Accept that you are precious, formed exactly as He wanted you. You are unique and special to Him. Rest in assurance that you are His workmanship, created for this time in history. Stand firm in His Word and confident in His strength.
Prayer: Lord, help me today to first accept that I am your child, uniquely created for what I am doing. Give me wisdom to walk in the path You put before me. Most of all, help me to accept who I am – your precious child, imperfect but loved, chosen by You to do specific things in this generation.
